This is Mahakali at her most complete. Standing 51 inches tall — 10 arms spread wide, each carrying a sacred weapon or symbol — tongue out, garland of skulls around her neck, standing on the chest of Shiva who sacrificed himself to bring her back from her divine rage. This Maa Kali black marble statue was hand-carved over 150 days by Manish Ji, KARIGAROFFICIAL's black marble specialist, in Jaipur.

At 800–900 pounds and 51 inches, this murti is built for a dedicated temple space. It is not a product. It is a commission — a once-in-a-lifetime creation for a devotee or institution that understands what Mahakali truly represents.

The Iconography

Kali stands on Shiva — her husband — who lay beneath her feet to bring her back from her destructive rampage after she killed the demon Raktabija. Her 10 arms carry a sword, trident, sickle, pot, discus, conch shell, severed head, bow and arrows, skull cup with fire, and a shield. Her garland of skulls and skirt of severed arms are the iconographic marks of Mahakali — the destroyer of ego, the liberator, the one who loves so fiercely that she destroys everything that does not serve.
